Not unusual Chuck, my last Marathon had the same problem, once tag was dumped front would come up. It was at gross axle weight on the front.

Chuck, I am sure a lot of other owners are reading this and you need to fill in some of the gaps in information.

First, as previously mentioned, if your coach originally worked as designed and then did not after air bags were changed, then other than the change in air bags did anything else change? If not you had to have had different replacement air bags.

You state your front axle weight as almost 18,000 pounds. What is the actual axle rating? If your actual weight exceeds the limit that is a contributing factor.

As Tom mentions coaches with overweight front ends require tag lifting sometimes to get max height lifting, but if you are just learning this and never had to previously use that technique then lifting the tag to get max height is masking the real problem which you state is after an air bag change the coach would not fully rise. You can live with having to lift your tag and accept that as the solution, or you can get your coach fixed correctly.

An excessive front end weight is another whole topic.
