Ups and downs In Indiana/Ky this day
Up Grandson 8 got his first Deer. Well supervised –nothing goes to waste in our culture. Downs:::: tornadoes–Nephew works railroad and train in front of his was blown off track in central Ind. He is Ok. 15 miles south across Ohio river lots of touch downs. Reports still comming in.. Was 18 here Wed morning 74 today 50 tomorrow. Haven’t had any calls yet for recovery effort–Just hopeing it’s property damage. We are Ok! Duck to the east!! 25 dead here Nov 2008.

Corydon and Morganfield hit hard!! Haven’t had call for help yet. Power out.. About 4:30 Central time..I prob wouldn’t get involved till daylight anyway to clear right of way or access roads.. Still no local death reports and the Kids haven’t been called in to Hospitals . .I have two in Med field that get the call when it hits the fan… Good news.

Had some major damage here in Illinois. We lost the ridge vent on the house which wasn’t a huge deal but the water that came through the cathedral ceiling was unappreciated:) Got it fixed this morning, now ready to tackle some of the big trees that came down. Thoughts and prayers are with the folks in Washington, IL that lost their entire homes!

Pretty stable here now on first response. We have two large tub grinders The largest runs 150 yrds a hr 48 inch tree calls have already started comming in. Will have to take care of our regular customers first. Just got the big one two weeks ago. Make it clear we take care of emergency first people come first!!! Have checked on our Omish friends to the north that were hit hard and they are doing well. They are the first to come when we need help! To the south everything is covered for the short term. Amazing how well people come together when it hits the fan..This one hit in daylight!! The last one hit 2am killing 25 within 12 miles of the house and was on the ground for 40 miles…Nov 2008… Deep breath God take care of all!! Bob

A friend’s church was hit in Washington, Illinois Sunday morning during church. I had my tent set up in that grassy area the week of July 4th. Thankfully nobody in the church was hurt severely.

We even got some wicked wind way up in northern michigan during the storm. No damage to the home or RV barn but we did loose power for more than a day. Back up house generator worked great BUT the RV breaker in the house kept popping.
The generator in the bus is on auto start if we loose power and it worked great.
