  • Unidentified Dual Fan Switch in Electrical Bay

Posted by Jeff on April 16, 2020 at 11:30 pm

Inside my electrical bay is the pictured dual Heater Fan Speed switch mounted above and to the right of the Allen Bradley computer system. (Dial and toggle switch) I originally thought it went to the bay heater (3rd photo) but it does not. The bay heater in the third photo has only a power cord and it goes straight to an always hot 120vac receptacle, so that dual switch panel does not control it.

I attempted to trace the wiring but cannot as it goes into a massive bundle of wires that are neatly & tightly wrapped together.

My generator is in the next bay, yet cannot think of any way it relates to it. Any ideas? Things to check? The wet bay does have a heater fan, yet its thermostat is right there. THANK YOU

Got the answer from Mr. Jeff Rowe who advised this switch controls the entry door step well heater fan that is part of the webasto system. Glad to know what it operates. THANK YOU Jeff Rowe 🙂
