  • Unexplained electrical loss to cruisair

Posted by Raymond on October 28, 2016 at 9:00 am

    I’m baffled about the loss
of electrical power to my Cruisair units. In July one of my
Cruisair units simply lost electrical current
to the unit. Had power are the breaker but at the unit the line was dead. After
extensive searching and calls to Featherlite and elsewhere I was unable to
determine whether additional fuses or terminal bus duct was broken or blown in
the path so I ran a direct line from the unit to breaker and bypassed the old
line, the unit has operated flawlessly since. Now a few days ago the second
Cruisair unit in the front bay has developed the exact issue. There must be a
terminal block or additional connection somewhere in the line.

    The
power source would presumably be a direct run from the circuit breaker to unit
which would conclude the line has somehow severed or been cut, but that just doesn’t
make sense. Has anyone ever experienced a similar issue?

    Thanks

    Ray

Try to locate what they sometimes refer to as system make up boxes. Most time in bays mounted on ceilings or walls.

Marathon ID’s with a label on the outside.
