Two Rivers RV Resort – For Sale
Don at Two Rivers in Sevierville, TN asked me to pass the word that the Resort is for sale and has a 10-10-10 rating for 2016. Anyone interested in Campground ownership should talk to Don. Two Rivers

Barb and I are sitting there now. But we’ll have to move on Saturday the 26th due to a rally coming in that booked the whole place. If there is anything I can do, dandarst@gmaildotcom.

I propose that Prevost Community buy it (with Jon and Tom’s money of course) and give drastically reduced rates to Prevost Community members (basically close to free) and fleece the public for ridiculous profits!
Maybe bring Jeff in on the deal too. Something like a certain number of free nights for every dollar spent at East Tennessee Luxury Coach by PC members. (With no cost to Jeff, just goodwill and piece on earth and all that stuff)

I really like Two Rivers. It is very well done, half of its sites face the river, and it is relatively close to all that is happening in the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area. People may not believe it, but eventually all the road construction around it will be completed.
But…..a couple of months ago we drove through Two Rivers and then through another nearby resort on Douglas Dam Lake, Anchor Down RV resort. Anchor Down was almost filled and Two Rivers had maybe 20% of the sites occupied. I don’t know why it wasn’t filled.

I think the big difference is Anchor Down caters more to the family campers. Every time I’ve driven through there it’s loaded with trailers and kids using the playground and lake beach/swimming. There’s really nothing for kids to do at Two Rivers and it seems to cater more toward quiet older crowds like Jon.

We spent a week at Anchor Down last month. Very nice place, highly recommend.

Tom is correct. They have different demographics and Two Rivers is clearly more for people looking for a quieter RV park. Colt definitely fits in with the kids at Anchor Down so there is no surprise he recommends it.

I can see Colt sitting at the kids table, playing in the sand box, and leaving half empty juice boxes lying around all over. I have a clear vision of that and I only met the guy once for just over a day.

I hate to hear that the resort is for sale hope Don will be able to stay on with the new owners, He is a big reason that I went there he is very personable, and was always helpful with any questions about the area, If memory serves it was for sale before, about three years ago and was bought by some gentlemen, I believe the price at that time was 1,500000 or 2,000,0000 wonder what the price is today? Tom and Jon get off that moldy money and buy this for your fellow Prevost owners, just kidding of course, Megan and I hosted a rally at Two Rivers in 2012 for the Wild Bunch, it went well, lots to see and do in the area, I highly reccomend the chop House back towards I-40. Well I have to go, get my belongings, and tye them up in my sack and put it on my stick so I can thumb out that way, Living life and enjoying it, Gary & Megan

C’mon Gary, we know where the money is… You would make a great campground owner, although your best asset would be Megan.
