Two New RV Resorts Coming to the Florida Panhandle
Hi All –
There are two new RV resorts coming to the Florida panhandle. I have been watching the construction for several months and both seem to be nearing completion. The first is on Okaloosa Island – the stretch of land between Fort Walton Beach and Destin – and is called Destin West RV Resort. It is owned by the person who owns the Ramada Beach Resort directly across the street and the Destin West condominiums located directly next door. Their website is http://www.destinwestrvresort.com. According to their website daily rates for off season are $60 and the in season daily rates are $99.
The second RV resort is in Navarre – about halfway between Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola – and is called Santa Rosa Sound RV Resort. Their website is http://www.strosarv.com. Their rates range from $55 to $85 depending on the season and site location.
I have no connection to these two resorts. I will try to take some pictures as they “come out of the ground” a little more. Currently Destin West has all of the pavers down for all of the sites and Santa Rosa has all of their concrete sites poured. Landscaping and other features should be going in soon.

Thanks for the Resort information. I contacted both Resorts and St. Rosa was very happy to become part of the Prevost Community and joined us as a Advertiser, they couldn’t beat the price, Free… Destin West has ignored my efforts to contact them.

Thanks for the info on St Rosa and Destin West, they are both now on our website as Advertisers. Take a look at the front page and you will see their Ad’s scroll across the screne with the other Advertisers. You can also click on Advertisers and then choose the category to see the Ad’s.

Glad to hear they are on board as advertisers. When I drove by last week each appeared ready to open very soon. Once they open I will try to take some pictures and provide some reviews. I live/have lived about two miles from Destin West all of my life, so if any one is in the area and needs recommendations on restaraunts, activities, shopping, et cetera send me an e-mail. depewtee @ Cox . net (no spaces).

Are they going to be Passport America? or any thing else you know of? You live in a area we visit often. Topsail Hill is a destination for us often as well as Henderson Beach. Looking forward to checking them out.
