Just stayed at Twin Fountains for three days and the park needs definite care to be brought up to the standards at which it has been maintained in the past. One of the very important iissues is electrical power. We were placed in a site and had only 108 volts on one leg. The 4 slide coach next to us had to set up on 30 amps…which is very dangerous. We moved to another site and had low voltage there as well. (110 volts and 115Volts). It eventually moved to 114 and 117 when we cut off an air condiditoner…

They are adding 50 new sites while the character of the park iseems to be rapidly changing to that of a large percent being permanent residents…. primarily employed in the area. Before any non-rally rallies are planned there, I recommend an understanding be reached with the park management relating to several issues.

As the park ages, the delivery systems for the electricity age and are less efficient. The park does not recognize any issues if asked but here we were with our voltages in the tank and the guy next to us having issues…They simply stated that the gauges in many RV’s are inaccurate…then the electrician showed up with a $29 voltage gauge.

The other issue is several sites are “pull throughs” with an uphill incline then the site flattens out. I was careful and stopped short of bottoming out but others have not been as fortunate. When I asjked in advance if the site assigned to us was one on which I could possibly hit bottom, they said no. In looking at the site, there must have been over 100 places where coaches had hit bottom…They do not care to maintain a list of such sites. They can easily be backed into but the caretakers should at least know the issues and the difference.

Wasn’t a good report at this time.

Message received Pres. That’s too bad, since it’s a great location, but unless there are changes for the better, I doubt there will be another No Rally in our future at that location.

Its interesting how the owners or operators of a business can so often be blind and/or indifferent to what makes their business successful.

I suspect that at least 75% of the owners of just about any kind of motorhome plug an electricity cleaner upper into the pole before they plug their M/H in and then stand and stare at the voltage. We’re in new century.
