  • Twin 27,000BTU RVAC system

Posted by Brett on November 28, 2015 at 3:44 pm

OK, can someone explain the twin 27,000BTU RVAC system. I did a search and can find things on cruiseair, roof air, OTR, but nothing on RVAC.

Good, bad, indifferent. We would be living in the bus, with a bit of driving, but not 100’s of thousands of miles.

    Thanks as always

RVAC is a two stage park type unit used in the basement. It was used on many RV’s incl Vantare. Unfortunately they are out of buisness. A competent AC guy can repair them and a really good one can repair or retro-fit a control board, otherwise the only option (6-8K) is a Coleman-Mach upgrade and retro-fit. Geo.

Appreciate it, that kinda tells me everything I wanted to know. Don’t believe that is the system for me. Too many others out there with different systems.

AAP in Virginia, has a replacement Dometic Unit, which works very well also.
