Trying to figure out my new 89 Marathon
How do you turn on the Webasto ??? I’ve looked everywere…. not sure how to do this? I do see a button up front that says “block heater” but I assumed that was Just a Block Heater… and not the Aux HeatWebasto…. Anyone with a marathon conversion around 89 that can shed some light on this?

I have buttons in the stateroom panel called “12V Heat” and “12V Water Heater” that turn on the Webasto. One for general coach heating, the other just for hot water. I have the Techlink wiring which Marathon started using in 1997. On your model year I assume it would be direct DC switches or breakers.
Also, make sure your thermostat calls for heat after you turn on the “12V Heat” switch.

I don’t know what thermostats Marathon used at that time, but on all my coaches the thermostats have had a switch on the bottom to turn them on. That switch is a little lever that when moved to the right enables the thermostat. It isn’t real visible.
