Traveling through Amish country
Mark & Kristi was that you we passed around 7pm this evening at the 203 mile marker on Illinois interstate 57? Wife, granddaughter and I were coming home from trip to Sarasota FL in the red GMC Denali pulling a 20′ black enclosed trailer. We live just 8 miles west of exit 203. If the guy driving that coach had a smile about a mile wide it was Mark.
He had a pesky leak he was chasing for a long time fixed at Jeff’s finally. He was heading home to plow the snow from his driveway.

That would have been about right. I got off on 74 and am in Bloomington now on way home.
Jon..leak still not done, just slowed it down some more. Got a couple of drips after we hung up…but still happy…it is better than it was.

If you slowed it down, then that suggests you are on the right track and you need to do more of what you have done to slow it down.
Maybe Tom will sell you his non-slide coach which makes your problem go away, and Nancy can have your coach with the slides she wants.

We plan to load the bus with all my siblings and spouses tomorrow morning for a short trip to Nashville Indiana. Nashville is a quaint touristy town with lots of shops, stores and craftsmen practicing their trades.
We will tour the area using several 15 passenger vans belonging to a pastor cousin from Bean Blossom IN Saturday evening after spending the day in the shops. Sunday we’ll attend services at the cousin’s little country church with a potluck dinner to follow and then make our way back home in the evening.
Reason for trip is to spend some family time with oldest brother who has terminal lung cancer but is currently feeling well enough to go.
Picked up next oldest brother in Florida yesterday 3:00am and brought him here to Illinois so he could travel with us as well.
Just a reminder to all on the forum PLEASE do not put off spending time with those you love as time is SHORT!

Tom, we were just having a discussion about the really crappy roads here. All the way back from Jeff’s place the roads are fairly good until we get into northern IL and from there on they SUCK! WI and MN don’t do diddly for so long everything is crap and they need an almost total redo to get back to anything close to smooth.
If I was in charge, I would stop all the give away programs that are alive and well here in the people’s republic and spend it on the roads!

Actually Mark you can do both.
Continue the giveaway program for the “less fortunate” but require them to fix the roads as a condition of collecting their checks, getting their free healthcare, getting their free phone, getting their utilities paid, getting, getting getting.
Make all the shovel handles 2 feet shorter so it is difficult to lean on them.
I will guarantee in a relatively short period of time you will have better roads and the “less fortunate” will move to states that don’t require them to work.
No charge for my pearls of wisdom.

Fair is harsh to some of the “freeloaders” out there.. we do need to take care of the less fortunate and sometimes it hard to tell the difference… making them work will pull a few weeds for sure !!

Everyone that collects any kind of federal assistance, should have to pass a drug test, you fail you get nothing, this would result in about fifty percent decrease in hand outs. We do random drug testing for saftey and insurance concerns, if someone fails he does 30 days rehab at our cost, and this is done at night so they can work and support their family, if they fail at another random test they lose their job, and we have lost some good people because of this, but will not allow drugs on our workplace, Gary
