    trans reader says: ENGINE SPEED SENSOR

    Anyone know the location of the sensor. Internet not much help.

    The engine speed sensor is located on the bell housing. The trans has 3 external sensors all connected via a common harness. The plugs on the harness tend to get dirty. I would first try unplugging each connector and cleaning and reconnecting. This usually resolves the issue.
