Transmission Output Seal
I changed my transmission output seal today. Not too bad a job except that propeller shaft is a brute to bench stem. I replaced the seal with the new synthetic oil resistant one. The output yoke surface did have a small groove where the seal rides. So the new seal may not last long. Has anyone installed a repair sleeve for the output yoke (29511516)?

Have the yoke changed at your local drive shaft shop. Assume you want to keep that special seal. Shop could have some good ideas to eliminate your problem.
Drive shaft shop should check for accurate spin and balance.
