  • Trace Inverter AC-1 loss

    I previously posted under “wierd electrical” as additional info

    one of the relays in the shore power junction box has a red light. I tried swapping the relay next to it and it “buzzes”

    ** just found out why the buzz-one is 12v the other is 120v( could not see thru the marks a lot)**

    I did check the ac line 1 at the inverter and indeed no voltage, but there is voltage in

    the inverter breaker panel( on all legs) will post pictures of each panel.

    UPDATE!Thanks to suggestion from Ed( Travelingman) I did a “whole coach -shutdown” and it solved the problem. The relay still has a red light ,so will try a new one when it arrives,

    This is the fan temp switch at my inverters Coach #632.

    Located between inverters. This fan switch controls the temperature that the Marathon installed fans come on to push and pull air out of compartment. I added two more fans to keep inverters cool on hot days or when they are hot. Switch is set as marked in picture.

    Mine is mounted up above the inverters and the snap disc was set a high temp, so for you Marathon guys, check the temp setting and lower it.

    Update ( again) I replaced the relay that had the red light and new one did not light up. The relay is labeled “inverter loss”

    While I was having trouble understanding why #1 inverter was carrying more load, and for the last couple weeks before they shut down, I was seeing battery voltage drop,

    Now after the reboot, the load is higher on #2 inverter, but batteries remain at 13v &26v.
