You guys have been snookered.
I have a 32 foot stacker I will bring to the Tampa rally. I will have my Corvette, my Gator, my new Harleys, along with my workbench, tools, 80 gallon air compressor, welder, and a full set of spare tires for all my vehicles.
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m so concerned with the weight of my toad I replaced the nitrogen in the tires of the H2 Hummer with helium.

Many options, I used to tow a full size 09 suburban which was so simple to activate inside the car with the 4×4 control knob. The issues encountered w/ any tow vehicle is the tow braking system that requires intrusioin into the bus air system which creates another leak point ! Also that tow vehicle will be nasty from exhaust alone not to mentioin road stuff! I used to wonder why anyone would lug around a trailer behind that bus, but since purchasing a 24ft featherlite enclosed trailer and eliminating tow nasty & having spare storage, I`ll never go back ! BTW i get @8mpg not towing & @8mpg towing. That Detriot 60 don`t care ! One other thing abt trailer`s is, TN limits total overall length to 65ft. A $2120 fine is the penalty for over length according to TDOT. Other states have similar. Living in Knox,TN a lot of overlength entertainer units frequently pass thru & I `ve never seen one stopped ! good luck!

I would love to know your secret to 8 mpg towing or even NOT towing… never heard of this??

I would love to know how you can get 8 mpg as well. I am returning from Barrett Jackson back to Florida. Towing a 26′ feather lite stacker. Averaging 4.3 mpg towing stacker. When flat towing I get 5.5. My 2 cents is towing a trailer is a large P.I.A. I much prefer flat towing.

Since the beginning of time I have recorded every gallon of fuel I put in my coaches. I have found that there are factors which influence the mileage calculations such that to try to base mileage on one or two tankfuls is an exercise in futility.
Our fuel comsumption varies significantly with winds (or speed which creates increasing headwinds), hills, towing, and running air conditioning. I can get 8 MPG out of an 8V92 which everyone knows is as impossible as keeping a politician’s hands out of our pockets. All I have to do is pick the day with the strongest tail winds, on flat roads, not towing, and not using any AC (whether it is OTR or roof airs running throu the inverter) and driving about 50 MPH.
So the real mileage on our coaches, based on our own driving habits is a block of miles at least 5000 miles and with the first fill before starting, and the last fill occurring at the same pump at the same truck stop.
I think the Pro-Driver is quite accurate if properly calibrated and it rules out Websto and Generator use. But I still annually total my fuel consumption and miles and trust those numbers, but if I pick the individual refueling numbers for a calculation my mileage is all over the place.

Our Pro Driver appears to be accurate also and it sits pretty steadily on 6 – 6.5 mpg towing the suburban 4 down… drops lower but never higher. For the most part 6mpg at about 65mph is where we are ! We are quite happy with that too.
We keep records of our fuel purchases and mileage and note if the genset is on or off and where we are going.. we keep a handy trip log in other words. Nice to be able to check back if we need to since neither one of us can’t remember s_ _ t !!

Yes we park on the grounds. We park on the blacktop overlooking the polo field. Pretty expensive but we enjoy it.
