A while back someone sent a question about the life of a tow bar.
Because we tow a suburban and usually put about 15k miles a year, we send ours back to the manufacturer every 5 years for inspection and to be refurbished. We use a Demco excalibar and each time we will pay shipping, and they will refurbish the bar ( new bolts,nuts, washers, friction plates, locking pawls, etc) always done as “good will” including return shipping. good piece of mind
