total update
I am looking forward to posting picture of my coach as soon as work is completed.
Left it with Donnie Myers RV Service in Sanford, FL. Donnie is the “man” in the southeast for Prevost service from my experience. He does amazing work and does exactly what was agreed to without my having to look over his shoulder.
We considering trading for a new coach, but really did not see anything that made us feel it would be that great of improvement over what we already had. I was especially disappointed in how much space is lost due to the new engine emmissions equip.
We decided that even though our coach has hit the 100,000 mile mark it has been meticulously maintained and most of the bugs are long gone. Looking at the trade difference ours started looking a lot better.
We had our coch built new in 2006. It was starting to look old inside to us even though we had changed carpet out and some of the fabrics several times. Donnie is going to pull out all of the flooring and install hardwood throughout. He is going to remove anything polished brass which looks dated to me and replace with satin nickol. This becomes quite a project as it involves toe kicks, cabinet pulls, shower enclosure, ceiling detail, and on and on. We chose all new fabrics, new refrigerator, and on and on.
I am mosty excited about what we are doing to the exterior. Donnie is changing the front and rear caps as well as all of the fender wells to look like a 2013 model. He has obsessed about every detail and it is really starting to take shape.
Will post pictures as soon as it is further along
