Top of Prevost slide
Has anyone had to have the top of their Prevost slide internally braced to eliminate sagging that may allow water intrusion? If so, who did you have do it, what was the cost and did it work?

I heard of one owner that had to have it repaired because the sag in the roof was preventing the seal from working. If he is on here he might respond. At the age of your coach that is a non-issue. Just get Prevost to fix it. You might need to get Millennium to strip the slide and possibly advocate for you with Prevost because that should not happen. (i am assuming it is a Prevost slide of course.)

I had another coach with a sag as well as the metal was lifting….Prevost doing that one and contributing with the cost of the repair….Depends on how much sag is there as to the repair also…

Yes, it is a Prevost slide. I’ll be at Millennium in late Sept. or early Oct. so I’ll talk to them then.

Unless the slide roof was physically damaged by people dancing on the top or some other physical force it sounds like a Prevost design or manufacturing defect. Prevost should stand behind the repair, but don’t be shy about getting Millennium to advocate for you. They can probably even confirm it was a Prevost defect and they have as much interest as you in insuring their customers don’t have to deal with issues like that.
