  • TO ADMIN … Problem with PC Maps

Posted by Ronald on October 12, 2014 at 11:05 am

I started to add a few more places to the map today. This would include some Canadian locations.

3 times I have entered all information and got locked-up or thrown out every time I attempted to post.

The last time I captured the following error message.

    ADODB.Command error ‘800a0d5d’

Application uses a value of the wrong type for the current operation.

    /forum/addMapItem.asp, line 58

Please check and advise. It is a great PITA entering everything only to be kicked out.

    Cheers,

    Ronald

just to prove a point, after having been kicked-out 3 times in row trying to add a Canadian park, I have now entered another US park. It went through without a hitch.

are we not allowed to enter information about Canada?

If there is an issue with Canada, will get it to our web guy.

A little patience would be appreciated, the map is new and we’re doing our best to get the bugs out as quickly as possible.

trying to bring up the map with park info now generates a blank page.

trying to bring up th page with fuel stop info, generates a long error code message.

    Ronald,

The Candian zip is now added for mapping. Also, your problem with the fuel stop is my fault, I deleted the stop I put in and the system won’t allow a new stop until we add the first one in admin. I’ll add ad stop when I back to my computer unless Jon beats me to it, then you can add your stop.

RV parks page. After logging in and out several times and after rebooting my eye pad, the page does still come-up blank. Refreshing page does not help, either.

1 hour later, problems still persist. When you select and submit “all …” The system jumps to a blank “restaurants” page.
