Tips for Changing Coolant Line from Compressor to
I think I have finally met my match… Have been working on a coolant flush for wayyyyyyy toooooo long as keep finding hoses I “think” I should replace as preventative maintenance.
2006 year model H3 chassis currently has 104,000 miles and in addition to other hoses, I now would like to change the coolant hoses that go from the water pump to the BA921 engine driven air compressor and from the compressor to the engine block.
The “return” line to the engine is EXTREMELY tight and hoping someone has changed it and can offer tool and procedure tips. I am hoping I do not have to remove the air compressor, especially since the fuel pump is mounted on the rear of it and seems that would be an engine priming nightmare!
(my camera makes it look like lots of working space, but no)
