I am going to second what Mike Davis said.
I attended the “Know your Prevost” seminar before I had a bus. Learned what to ask of a seller, what to look for, what some of the technical terms meant, what the mechanicals looked like, plus got to meet a lot of great people who I felt I could ask additional information if I had a question. And to top the whole trip off, I got to meet Buddy.
I then attended another seminar after I had the bus, and tied up a lot of loose ends with knowledge that I had after learning to play with the bus. I now know almost nothing I am finding out .

When we bought our first coach there was no internet as we know it now, there was no place to ask questions, and we literally stumbled across our first coach by accident.
We did not know what we did not know.
Today with the PC forum a person can go into the purchase of a coach with the help and support of a lot of people and not rely on luck like we did to make a good purchase.
Take advantage of the collected wisdom on this forum.

This is a small one, but I leave one of my business cards on top of the steering wheel as soon as I park the bus and raise the antenna, put a slide out, plug into shore power, etc. This is a great physical reminder for me to check stuff before I drive away.

I posted this yesterday , but it did not appear.
I put the ignition key in the cabinet with the sat controller. This way when I go to start the bus, I have to go into that cabinet to get the key. Theroy is to turn the dish off while in there.

I bought a pack of multi-colored Velcro strips at Lowe’s that I wrap around the steering wheel. I wrote on each one with a sharpie pen pertaining to what I want to be reminded of.
-Antenna (up) {even though it tells in the instrument cluster}
-Outdoor step (portable)
-Clocks (we put a couple of small clocks out)
-Rugs (a couple of extra rugs in the kitchen area that need to be removed when slides are brought in)
