  • THE PARTY’S OVER

MAN … I BET IT IS SURE QUIET.

Yoko and I would like to extend to all of you our heartfelt appreciation of the three days or so we spent with all of you at Three Amigo’s. We truly felt welcome in your midst, and even tho’ we do not have a high-dollar Prevost Conversion with the Maui-Wowie Teakie Wood and all the bells and whistles, we enjoyed our brief hiatus with all of you immensely.

It is so good to finally be able to put a face with the name and we had a great time. Jon provided us both with a hat that had “PC” on it, which made us feel as if we had been adopted into your group and officially welcomed.

Yoko asked me what “PC” stood for and I told her …… “Pretty and Creative.”

Everything went just perfect until one Prevost guy washed his bus and then it sort of all came unraveled from there on out, but all in all, it was a great meeting and if you were not there, you missed out.

Obviously, there are far too many of you to name individually, so we will keep it simple. Thanks, it was a real hoot (That is Okie talk Truk), we hope to do it again.

Yeahsus! That are me, I shot it out to El Reno, Oklahoma, they have a public dump-station set up there that is straight out of the pipe (no hose hookup or any of that other jazz) and it makes it nice. You just pull it over the pit and let ‘er fly!

If someone comes up and looks at all the dukey lying there under it, I just tell ’em the big pieces are from the wife!

    No not really.

I did wave at ya’s when I saw you stylin on the boulevard westbound and all, I was heading back to the Goat Farm and my favorite chair. Have a good time in Las Vegas, say “hello to our money!”

Yoko said she really enjoyed the lunch “with the girls.” It was a good meet, and we had a ton of fun. Now I have to figure out a way to shed all of the pounds that I have gained socializing and grazing at Twin Fountains. My best to Larry, was nice to meet you both. Tell him there is some new stuff over on the PUP forum, Throttled Back And On The Plug is the title.

The Three Amigos are awesome! Thank you so much for allowing us to join you in Oklahoma. We really felt welcomed and learned so much. Selecting the right bus will be a little easier now.

Also, a special thank you to those of you who invited us into your coach for a private tour. It is a huge advantage to ‘feel’ the space instead of looking at pictures. It was a gracious gesture we will not forget.

We are more excited than ever now. Hope to meet more of you in the near future!

Here are pictures taken at the OKC 3 Amigo’s rally this past weekend.

Pictures of buses and I hope none were missed. Our parking sites were all over the park at Twin Fountains RV park.

The pot luck Mex feast was on Thursday night and was over the top with choices.

Friday at 11:30 am our invitation to the open house to tour a newly built oil rig Jerry Winchesters company just purchased.

State of art oil rig for $19 Million. This rig will be completely dis-mantled in 2 days and shipped to Ohio, on 72 trucks. A BBQ lunch was served

.After a short rest and maybe a nap by a few 6:00 pm off to Jerry Winchesters new airport hanger for cocktails and a BBQ dinner. His plane was not in the hanger as the annual inspection was being done at another shop.

On the fifth (5) picture back….. look inbetween the two (2) young ladies at the table there is a home made ice cream making machine. This was fired up and after some huffing and puffing produced a batch. This machine was hand built from parts and pieces by Jerry and his father.

Thanks to the 3 Amigo’s ….Truk4u…Jdub….and Mango Mike. Great fun and lots of good food.

Nice pictures, and my sentiments exactly. If you wish to see some more bus porn, you can find it on my site, Creative Endeavors. Thanks for including my Old Iggle in there, you have some great shots of the event. I would be remiss if I did not add that Al’s pictures are far more interesting.

    Creative Endeavors 10-01-2012:

More or less floated a day or two with some other friends here at the Goat Farm and then attended another bus get together 35 miles from the house. This was at a gathering entitled The Three Amigo’s in Oklahoma City where me made new friends and found some very interesting people in that group with which to mingle.
