Testing of Transfer Switch&gen fan Cooling breaker
With a lot of help from Jeff McCreery the starter was the no start issue. She is running.
A couple of things that I need guidance on. I went to fuel up last evening. Started the generator, flipped the generator breaker, and the transfer from Inverter to generator power went without issue for about ten minutes. Smart one here had also changed the fuel pump but failed to bleed the system. I did that this morning taking the opportunity to also put in a new fuel hose.
After starting the generator I noticed that there was no transfer from Inverter to Generator. That is still the case.
I also noticed that the generator cooling fan was not starting. That also is still the case. I thought that might be the capacitor so it was replaced.
Seeking guidance on how to test the transfer switch and the generator cooling fan breaker. Last night the cooling fan was working fine for the period the generator ran.
I have not run into this issue before where the power switch did not happen between the generator and the Inverter.
The generator cooling fan, I suspect, has been the issue with cooling for a while. Although the eight months the generator fan has been working fine and my temp never made it higher than 180 to the 185.
As usual, any assistance will be appreciated. The trip we had planned for this weekend has been cancelled since with the generator and Inverter transferring power the three roof airs will not operate.
