  • Telescoping ladder

Posted by Dave on July 15, 2016 at 6:51 pm

I have been using the flimsy telescoping ladder that came with my coach since it was new. After having two friends take nasty falls from their telescoping ladders I went on the hunt for a better ladder. I purchased a Exten n climb pro series elite ladder. It is extremely sturdy and does not wiggle as the old one did. I feel much safer using this ladder. Check it out at http://xtendandclimb.com/products/telescoping-ladders/pro-series-elite/pse155-250bkbk.html. Available only at Sherwin Williams paint stores. Cost 280.00. Worth every penny. Only downside is it weighs 40 lbs.

    Dave:

we use a Little Giant, and likewise weighs 30 lbs and cost $300 but worth every penny. When using the extension feature, can access top of bus if needed……

Trust all is well and enjoying your travels.

The Little Giant came with my coach and it’s very sturdy, along with a number of different positions you can use it in.

I went with the Telestep 12ES it’s very sturdy and weighs 24 pounds. I can reach the top of the coach but can not get on the roof.

20 years ago, I had the honor of showing Phil Donahue the first model of the TeleSteps ladder. I had no idea he was going to climb it!

Andy – Don’t use the link function with your embedded code, click the blue sheet of paper above and place your code anywhere in the document you wish.

I edited the post above and now if you click on the links it brings you to the video. Is that what you meant by embedding Andy?

I can see we are going to be teaching one another.

Which model Little Giant are you guys using? I have a model 26 at home, but way to big and heavy to carry in the bus.

Our coach has a built-in storage compartment for a Little Giant ladder, but like the other loose stuff, it was missing. We picked up a size 17 Little Giant ladder at Costco, and it fits perfectly.
