Anyone have a good source for Tecma Parts?

I am in urgent need of the 90 fitting that connects to the flush valve from the water source. I can’t find anything local. Marathon doesn’t stock. Thetford was a waste of time calling them.

Supposed to leave for Breck on Wednesday and it blew today…

    Bill,

You have to get beyond the idiots in customer service as you have found out. I have had warranty and repairs for 2 different Silence Plus toilets, they sent me the parts at no charge. There is a guy named Richard who is the go to guy for Tecma technical service and his phone is (979) 587-5262. I’m sure he can help you get to the right place for parts.

    Thank you Tom!

Just called and left a message. Yet another reason to love this forum. A local rv shop made something that I think will get me through this trip. It was leaking at the connect to the flush valve so I put a little teflon tape on it and that seamed to stop it. Not ideal but really don’t want to disappoint the kids for a stupid plastic part. My 16 year old said he was going to try to 3D print a replacement…

Tom I was thinking about just ordering a full flush valve or solenoid or whatever it’s called. with your past marathons is that a plug and play replacement or do you have to mess with terminations etc.

    Thanks for the help!

I replaced the Microphor with a silence plus from Tecma and the solenoid would be an easy replacement. So far I’ve replaced a motor (not a fun job) wall switch and module.

Thetford is part of Dometic. So I am not surprised that the customer service sucks.
