Techlink Screens Dead – A Simple Fix
Assuming your Techlink Computer is working, easy check, just use an RCA video cable out of the Techlink Computer and hook to any RCA video device, I used the dash camera. I knew the Computer was working fine, but down stream no video.
You likely have what’s called an AV61 that distributes the video signal when leaving the Computer. They tend to fail, I had to replace one on my previous Marathon and now this one.
Easy fix and since I only needed 3 RCA outputs instead of buying the AV61 I got the AV41 for a whopping 28.00 on e-bay. The AV61 is north of 100 bucks. Both are made by Xantech. Even if you have a Rasberry Pi upgrade instead of the small PC, you probably have one of these AV61’s.
