tank sentry
Our tank monitor is given zero indication, I reset the control box in water bay but the monitor keeps going to zero. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Check to make sure the clear hose coming out of the tank sentry box in the plumbing bay has a good connection, as it works off air pressure and an air leak will give a low reading. If that doesn’t fix it then recalibrate your tank sentry. Mine was doing the same thing a few months ago. Took it to a Converter here in FL and they told me the entire system needed to be replaced for a couple thousand. I wasn’t buying that and recalibrated it myself. Ten minutes later all was well.

It could be the monitor board also,I replaced two monitor boards that where not working all good now , last year

Pete Liberty Coach replaced the boxes for me in Feb. I think it is the clear plastic tube is loose. I will work on it tomorrow when I get the calibration procedure.

Does your display look similar to these? I don’t have the instructions with me. They’re in the coach, which isn’t with me right now either. I might be with the coach later this week and I’ll copy the instructions for you when I get back if someone else doesn’t have the for you by then.

Great. Going off memory on the back of the display there are two trim pots. One red and one green. The red one adjusts the reading for a full tank and the green one adjusts the empty reading. Since yours is reading empty the 1st step is to have a full tank. Then go to your plumbing bay and press and hold, for about 10 seconds, the little button on the bottom of the corresponding sentry box. Then go back inside and turn the red trim pot clockwise until all the red LED’s are illuminated. Continue a half turn once all LED’s are illuminated. I find a tiny flathead screwdriver that you can get from CVS or Walgreens used to tighten the screw for eyeglasses works best.
Again, this is just going off memory from several months back. But when I get to the coach I’ll copy and send you the printed instructions.
Note: As Peter has pointed out there are different versions and the shape of the LED’s is a quick way to differentiate them. All my LED’s are round, unlike the picture I posted earlier.

Replace the o rings before you get too far. I JUST HAD THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM WITH OUR Liberty. After 12years the o rings are dried out. You can get the replacements at Home depot.

You do not have to empty and refill a tank to calibrate the Headhunter sentry.
Make a tube plugged at one end that is the height of the tank, and use that to simulate your holding tank for purposes of calibration. The system is just looking for head pressure.
