The one single air bag that was replaced was an identical to the original. The original on the bus that was removed and leaking was dated 1993 (appropriate for a 1994 chassis build and 1995 converter model). It was a Goodyear 1R11-088 with both the Prevost name and Goodyear ## on it.

I ordered a replacement Goodyear 1R11-088 and it fit perfectly, exactly the same as the other 3 drive air bags. It is my understanding that the fronts and the tag air bags are the same, and the 4 drives are the same. Since I didn’t purchase the bags from Prevost, I didn’t use their numbering system to order and can’t comment.

This what works good on my bus.

    Front airbags,”mae west” type, Prevost#630259 = GY# 1R11-244,

    Drive axle “double flare” type air bags, Prevost# 630104 = Gy# 1R11-088,

    Tag axle “mae west” air bags, Prevost# 630259 = Gy# 1R11-244

Don’s correct Prevost was going to send me different bags for front, they will work but for leveling they won’t go much higher then ride height, the one’s Don is referring to are just a little taller.

I have one follow on question. As I am checking for aux air leaks, so far all I have found is in the level control valves. The K910026 (Prevost 641056 3 way) Norgren has an exhaust port (3) and when I turn the bus off I hear and feel air coming from that port (I also hear it when running although a bit harder to tell). It is the port that releases air when I do manual leveling. I had a spare of that valve, swapped and the same behavior persisted so I am reasonably confident it is not that valve itself.

I don’t know what expected behavior is for that valve or exactly what controls the release of air between the manifold valve with solenoids, 5 way and 3 way, so I wanted to ask what your experience is with that system and if I have an air leak issue to be chased there. It seems obvious I have something going on, but not sure how to properly isolate the issue and figure out why it is releasing when leveling is not happening.

    Thanks as always!

PS – Since this was an entertainer, it has the factory manual leveling system and no auto leveling.

Given this is really a new topic, I will start a new thread.

Just rec’d today the pneumatic upgrade kit for tag axle logic. Thanks to Steve Weiberg at Prevost Parts – this kit showed to be obsolete. Took a little while, but he was able to find one apparently in an obsolete parts warehouse, looks like it was in Canada.

Thanks to Don for posting that service bulletin with needed info on it.

Of the 3 kits shown, correct one for my chassis was 141906. Price total with tax came to $531. Date on kit box is 05/31/2012.

So for anyone interested may still be avail.

Good deal Mike – yours will probably be on sooner than mine. Real thanks go to Don for posting the svc. bulletin. Without having that info I had tried but had no luck with Prevost.
