Support Stands
As a follow on to a different thread where support stands are mentioned, i used to support my Coach with block of wood,
Yesterday i made myself 4 stands, 2 for rear 2 for front, i am now confident that the support cant topple whilst i am underneath working.
Base is 1/2 plate, pipe section is 3/16 wall, top saddle is 3/16 channel, just what i had in my scrap pile

That looks similar to those Jon had made for a previous group several years ago.
I still have mine but sold the bus they were made for.
Ask Jon to expand the story.

We made several production runs of these and delivered them at rallies for cost. They have served me well for more than 20 years and there are a number of sets out there, with sets specific to a type of coach, like XL, H3.
There is an alternative however and it may be more versatile. I also use a Harbor Freight air/hydraulic bottle jack in either 12 or 20 ton size that is often on sale. With the hydraulic portion all the way down, and the center screw post up as high as necessary those jacks not only offer substantial support, they can be used to raise the chassis or axles.

I think the height of the stands will vary coach to coach, my rears will slip under the tag axle support point at about 11,3/4 inches when coach is fully aired up on level low system
Fronts i cheat a bit i dump the Tag and then lift the front, raises much easier and further that way, i can get approx 16 inches under front points.
Best to raise your coach up fully and measure clearance, i leave approx 1/4 inch to put stand under and remove,
I feel very safe with solid steel holding the coach up above myself.
