    Yup. That’s the plan for one of our trips. Work our way up the coast to Maine during the summer/fall, then catch the leaves coming back down all the way into Geogia and then to Florida for the remainder of our six month visa.

    Good plan.

    All except the part where you intend to do this legally with a visa. Nobody else does.

    Thank you Ronald and Gabi. We’ve had enough exposure to New England to know it’s a beautiul place to be outdoors in the summer. At least when it’s not raining.

    I think the road gripers need to wake up to the fact that detiorating highways are becoming endemic in our poor old republic. Drive the roads in New Mexico, California, and Washington if you’re in doubt.

    No comments about the Canadian Maritimes. Is that significant?

    We have to think of the wiggling and jiggling down bad roads as highway turbulence.
