Stone Mountain Ga
This past weekend we took off for Hotlanta and stayed at Stone Mtn campground. Our site was near the pool, general store, office, and playground. The site we were on was backin, gravel, had a small wood deck with picnic table and gas grill. Their is a shuttle bus that takes you the 2 miles to the gondola to take to the top, a nice train ride around the park, and other things for kids. At night they have an amazing lazer show against the stone side of the mountain. The park also has a beautiful golf course. Downtown Atlanta is about 30 minutes where the aquarium and the Coca Cola museum are located, and worth the time. The folks at the campground were very nice and we will return there someday.
