You, sir, have an eagle eye!
As soon as I looked at the photo attached here, I saw what you saw BUT have looked at it MANY times and did not realize my error! Thank you for pointing out.

Soooooo
After reading this post and having the same issue for a while, I decided to replace both my R-14 and R-12 relay valves along with changing the last of my push on fittings on the PP-1 (parking brake) valve to compression fittings.
It’s been about 6 hours now and the dash gauges show NO loss on the primary & secondary tanks. Aux tank is down about 12 psi.
Strange thing is; I did the balloon test (see attached pics) per the suggestion of Robert Hitt (Prevost service trainer). The passengers NEW R-14 relay valve is slowly inflating the balloon.
Now I am really lost. Could I have a New bad R-14 relay valve?

Yes. New stuff can leak.
I doubt if my experience is unique, but from time to time my primary and secondary that will hold pressure for months will go down overnight.
Before I do anything I run the bus pressures back up and almost always they will hold. I can only speculate that the leak is a little crud preventing a perfect seal or something else prevents the relay valve from sealing and just cycling between no pressure and full pressure is all it takes to stop the leak down.

I agree with this philosophy, My main and secondary would hold for weeks.
Then a rash of both tanks being at 0 psi in a matter of a day to main tank holding for a week and the aux tank at 0 psi. I have seen the opposite where the aux was at 120 psi and the main at 0 psi. Different drive, different symptoms, cheers.

Good Morning Chuck – THANK YOU for sharing the balloon photos! On the road now, yet will check when get home.
Some good news, the repetitive cycling of only my secondary tank while driving stopped after the second day of driving on this current trip.
Took four days to reach our destination, and days 3 and 4 the tanks held while driving (just like always)
The good news (if it lasts) it that after it stopped, all tanks no longer drain down at the same rate. This is all after your recommendation to replace the secondary tank check valve. We shall see… Thanks again!

Jeff:
Guess the moral to the story is “use it or lose it”. Had other issues that went away after getting on the road for an extended trip.

It’s been 6 days now since I replaced the R-12 & R-14 relay valves.
Primary and secondary tanks are still holding at 125 PSI. Interestingly, enough the Aux tank has dropped to 90 PSI and stayed there. Aux compressor is OFF so not sure why aux tank stopped at 90 and held, but I am way ahead of where I was before. Used to loose all air in all tanks over night.
I will call this a win, although I know it won’t be long before more leaks start. LOLChuck

Will add that to the to do list. Dealing with removing and rebuilding various hydraulic rams on the slide outs right now.

I had replaced 3 R12 valves and 1 R 14 valve when I 1st bought bus 7 years ago, the R 14 was a little different configuration and I had to make a mounting bracket to mount it. Here is a picture of boxes when I replaced them, Does anyone se a wrong part# Jeff replaced his R12’s and R14 valve and it made a difference I might like to replace the 1 R14 valve because it was wrong??
