Stainless Polishing
Had some scratches polished out yesterday by Almost Chrome (Nashville, TN). Pieter is the owner and a great guy. Before and after picture below:

Did you see what kind of polisher he used? I have a grinder with different wheels and bars, not easy, I wonder if he uses a wider wheel?

His cutting/polishing wheel was about an inch wide and maybe 10 inches in diameter. He was using green polish.
Some of the scratches were so bad, he had to sand the areas first with sand paper. Once he got a matte finish without scratches, he switched to polish.
He was very patient and very methodical. Once I thought he was done, he went over the area many more times.

The real skill and challenge is avoiding heat when polishing, especially on thin parts like the skins.

I have been following him on Instagram. He and his team do some beautiful work.

Yes, he was covered in dust and grime by the end. Didn’t phase him. He just kept working.

Hope he wears a mask. Those polishing compounds are not very compatible with biology.
