    Stabilus Lift-O-Mat Gas Springs

    Where is the best place to buy the Stabilus Lift-o-Mat Gas Springs and how do you cross reference for replacements? Went to NAPA with one of the springs and the replacement does not appear to be the same size.

    Prevost Customer Service. They’ll need your VIN. 800-621-5519 7am to 7pm central time. Free shipping. Best (only) price I could find when I replaced all 12 on bay doors. Largest I could find in auto parts stores were too small and considerably pricer. Small screwdriver releases spring clip on ends. Get a helper to lift door. Be careful and good luck.

    Google Orr & Orr, they are in Chicago. You will need the specs to get the correct ones. Been too many years to remember for sure, but I believe they are 220 pounders.
