Hi all. We purchased an ocean front site at Bryn Mawr resort in St. Augustine last year and put in new concrete, a new gazebo with back deck grill area and new landscaping. It is site #230 and is a very easy in and out site since it is adjacent to a street you turn up and then back straight in. Thought I would post a few pics in case anyone wants to request it when they are in northeast florida. We are on site from December 15-April 15 but it is available to rent any other times. The resort is on 450 ft. of oceanfront beach and has 4 boardwalks over the dunes with direct access. My site is one down from the boardwalk. Last year they put in a new beachfront pool with an adult hot tub and shower house that is wonderful.

It has to be rented thru the resort……you can request specific sites. My email is jtmaceri@charter.net if anyone has any questions. Very pet friendly park, you can take dogs on the beach and you can drive on the beach. We love this place and have been going to the same park for 12 years….lucky enough to buy an oceanfront last year.

Back deck with SS grill shelf and recycle bins.
Lots of room with the new concrete….it is LEVEL and dry even when it pours. We raised the concrete 4″ above road level.

Just called to rent your site, but it is booked for our dates. They have 231 and 233 available, which one would you suggest?

I don’t believe either of those have a gazebo……definately not 231…it’s a bit narrow. Try 222 or 224. Let me know what site you end up with. 249 or 250 are pull thru sites. I’ll tell you the easiest route to the site to avoid the narrow turns. Any of the ones I gave you means you can go right down the middle road and get to the sites.

I reserved 233 because on the site map it looked like I could back straight in. I may can change to one of the others you mentioned if you think they would be better.?

Shouldn’t have any issues getting into 233. That site was just purchased in March and the new owner is re-doing it in January. Have them take you back in the golf cart at the front desk to take a look. I think 222 has a really large gazebo on the site and new wide concrete.
You can still go straight down the middle and make a right at the oceanfront sites. Make another right I believe on a side road and be able to back pretty much straight in. You’ll see why I like my site…sraight up and straight back in……I’ll be curious to know if they have started working on the RV roads yet? They’re supposed to be done when I get back in December. Summer is high season for the campground so they may not start till October. The pool and hot tub by the beach are “adults” only and a nice addition to the park last year.
Have fun and if you need your coach cleaned while your there call adam…they have his number at the front desk. Tell him Jim from #230 said to give you a discount….LOL
Sunset Grille on A1A beach blvd to the north is nice and Southbeach grille 3 miles south is on the beach and has great chowder. If your heading into old town (over the lions bridge) O.C. Whites has nice seafood with outdoor seating overlooking the harbor…..
