    Tom and Jon,

Thanks for the fine rally. Barbie and I had a great time!

Getting to put actual people with names is the best!

Drivng 540 miles back home in a constant rain is the worst, but we made it.

How about doing it again? (the rally part I mean)

Tom and Jon, our thanks as well. Wonderful time! This was our first trip out without the kids and Claudia wants to do more, so it was either all of you she met, or hot breakfast in bed every day, likely both!! She was also worried I would talk “bus” 24×7 but soon realized that meant she had the RV all to herself to read at night.

I too enjoyed matching faces with posts – just two minor problems. First, I am horrible with names and second, I met many of you in the dark over too many beers!

It would be really cool if in addition to our avitar we could somehow associate a mugshot of each couple with our profile.

Right now we resemble that country song where the girl writing the singles advert asks the potential suitors to reply with a picture of their pick-up truck and dog 😉

I was able to thank Jon in person today, but Tom left yesterday so I did not get to express to him personlly what a great time that Karen and I had. You guys are great!!!

I don’t know how many of you watched the bald eagle fishing in the river. We saw him 3 of the 4 days in the mornings and in the evening.

Who says we can’t enjoy gas station food?

Here’s Johnny! He was not only our chef at the gas station, he was entertainment.

This is Terry (with Diesel and Bo) at his fabulous owner converted XL. I’m trying to get Terry to post pictures. That’s the view we all had. Having the opportunity to enjoy the river and the Bald Eagle fly over the river made it a very pleasant place to stay. We will do it again next year.

And thanks to Karl I have upgraded my rotary dial flip phone with the latest push button phone. I’m still having trouble getting the hang of it.

When it rains we head under cover.

And when it was sunny everybody relaxed under the awning. Corey and George were playing a George Jones DVD in honor of his passing.

The rally was too short. But it was great meeting everyone that posts.
