I have had two steer tires show the same flat spot on the outside on the passenger side one on a 2012 H3 and one on a 2013 X3 both with about 10 K miles. The X3 actually had the side wall start to delaminate. In both cases Liberty Coach had them replaced so I had no involvement with Michelin. Both were installed at the factory when the coaches were built by Prevost. I would venture to say they had a bad run, I wish I had date codes.

Mine were 4014 and 0716, so a big stretch for the bad run theory. Both of my failures were right steer. I got lucky and spotted the defects. There is no way to know how many miles prior to seeing problem. Each of these had only been on the coach 10-12 months and in my case would be 7-8000 miles.
