  • Spam Fairy Strikes

Posted by Archived on June 12, 2015 at 2:52 pm

    Just
when you think your making good progress on your Cholesterol numbers
and trying real hard to graze more on grass and green things that are
good for you, along comes the Spam Fairy and put’s you in a tail
    spin.

    What
kind of a buddy would dump 12 cans of yummy spam (480 mg Cholesterol)
on his fellow bus owner? The guy must want you to check out early
so he can rummage through your garage and try to take home anything that has a Napa label on it.

    Yep,
Big Al and has out done himself on this one and I’ll have to repay
this gesture with a steady supply of double pork pizza deliveries to
    the BA homestead.

Jon – I see you got one of these as well and we’re going to have to pull out our Double Secret Retaliation Plan that’s locked up in your safe.

    Gotta
go, the fry pan is heating up..

Never having spam I am looking forward to treating my taste buds to something new. I ignore labels since most of them are forced on us by government weenies that aren[t happy until nobody is happy so I will enjoy my case of cholesteral in blissful ignorance.

Don’t forget that you can also lay it sideways and score the top and pack with mustard. Then dot with whole cloves, brown sugar and juice or marmalde and bake like a ham. Better than baked ham ! Geo.

Shouldn’t I start this new experience slow? Should I enjoy the purity of Spam with my first taste, or is it like grits and requires massive doses of other stuff to make it edible?

The only advice I am ever going to believe relative to Cajun food is from Tommy and Brady. Those guys are the PC Cajun gourmets

They won’t let us eat Spam here…. they don’t use enough pig parts as cajuns use everything in making all those reciepts he mentions….

Just finished smothered cajun stuffed chicken with andouille !!!! tomorrow hosting LA NCRS Meeting and will be serving chiicken and sausage jambalaya with cajun cole slaw…… appetizer of crawfish boudin!!!

No wonder why we can’t lose weight in South Louisiana…..
