Here is the list I received from Catherines Landing, I originally had 15 sites under my name, I count 10 here on this list. I know Mike Bess is not listed, but is coming, taking Larry and Tina Burtons spot. If someone has a reservation but not on the list please let me know.

Catherine’s Landing called today. They want $500 more dollars over the money they have had the whole time. Plus they are putting on all kinds of stuff that I have no interest in. And, if cloud cover occurs, to bad.
So I am cancelled and awaiting an email to that effect and my money back. I will see more Prevost friends in November in Brenham for half the price.
I wish those attending a fine time.

By the way, I called to ask when the email might be sent and learned if you do not directly ask for a refund there will be NONE. As I write this,I am on hold to learn if a direct request will result in a refund. The lady learned a refund has been approved.
The November Prevost event in Brenham had to change rv parks to accommodate all the folks attending. The smaller park refunded all the money automatically.

We received a call from Catherines Landing also, corporate has figured out this is a big deal… They have made a package, arriving the 4th exiting the 9th, they have hired entertainment, food trucks, etc. I told them I’m still coming in on the 6th, my original billing was $342 the added is $168. To be honest, I kinda figured this was going to happen, when we set this up so early I figured they had no idea what this event was going to become. I do know the wait list to attend is 8 pages long.
I’m sure every one on the list of reservations has or will receive a call from them.
Catherines Landing is going to email me the list of everything going on, when I receive it I’ll post it here.

My wife and I are going to leave Vancouver in the last week of March and take 6 or more days to travel to Arkansas for the eclipse.
It would be nice to caravan with others.

Looks like we are Dead Center for the Event. Kingsland Tx. 78639. Over 4 minutes of Total Darkness. Thought about letting Folks come watch it on our small 10 Acre place here , but Wife had to bring over a couple of Her Pets off the Ranch we Sold of a few years back . Old “Boomer” is Hell on Paint and Taillights.
