Well, if Jeff is going, we should go too and leave a day earlier. That way he can pull up behind us and fix things should we “fail to proceed”. 🙂

(INTERESTED) Would certainly like to go to this!
Safe travels,

Looks like we’re going to have plenty, I’ll go to work on this first of next week. I would today, but starting to party up for the Chiefs upcoming win on Sunday.
-
We are interested.
I was thinking about this and trying to find a lower humidity location. We did not get to go to Driggs but tried a southeast location. Beautiful day, except for one cloud which blocked the sun for 3 minutes – during totality.

Just saw this. Us too.

Ok folks here’s what I have done, I booked fifteen sites in my name all back in next to the river arriving April 6 departing April 9 2024. Catherines Landing does not have the rate for that far out, but at this point just charged me the regular rate for now, $342.60. If you have to back out you get back 90%. Call Catherine’s Landing 501 262 2550 and reference my name and or Prevost Community the ladies will get you taken care of. We’re early enough at this point that if we exceed 15 spots it sounds like they can handle more.
If this eclipse is as fun as the last one we’ll have a ball……just have to make sure all the damn Prius’ are outa my way for my trip home.

Your efforts are much appreciated Dan. It’s a long way off, but folks need to jump on this now. I’ll be calling tomorrow.

Question as I have never been able to catch an eclipse…… Is the 2024 eclipse going to be better or different than the 2023 which will take place in Albuquerque, NM right after the Balloon Fiesta in October? To me that sounds like a dream come true!
