Slide seals air source
I am told that the Prevost slides do not have an air retention for the seals.
So if the auxillary system goes to zero that means the seals are not inflated?
Does that mean when it rains hard I can get water on inside of coach?
Where is the controller for deflating and inflating the seals.
2006 Royale Any other info on these slides please post.

Some will hold for some hours, yet many slide seals deflate once no supply of aux air remains. So, yes, want a constant supply of aux air to prevent rain water intrusion.
On your Royale, check rear wall of third bay, driver side, behind a carpeted cover to see your slide out controller & air pressure regulator. 10 psi is the set point for original seals. The new 2-piece seals require minimum of 12 psi yet I “think” (an am not certain) they want 14 psi in the new seals and 12psi if have one old seal and one new seal

Wide exterior blue painter’s tape works for taping the slide gap on the outside of the coach if you have a seal air leak. It will keep out water. Worked twice for us until we had leaking seals replaced at Jeff’s and Prevost, Nashville. Tape is cheap. Seals aren’t.

If the accessory air system leaks down the aux compressor needs to be on any time you want the seals to remain inflated.
To keep the seals pressurized with zero accessory system pressure you would need a check valve or other means to keep them inflated, and then when you needed them deflated, such as to move the slides in or out the check valve would need to be installed so as to not interfere with the deflation cycle.
