Well, I am scheduled in at J-ville march 6th for slide repair and webasto repair, talked with Robert Hilt today he will follow the work via his cell since he will be in Canada then, He thinks it could be the peice that slides on a “tapered shaft” that has the three screws in it, same place as before, on my coach you have to empty the pantry to get at a panel in the back to take out to see the apparatus, Last time the mechanic could not fit in “because of size” and they had a smaller tech helper to go in and do the ajustment, this time I will run the slide in many times and stay over night so I can bring them in the next day. The slide does not work at all now, has been in for a month and a half while I have been in Raleigh sort of closes up a slide coach can’t see the TV except in the chair. before it stopped completly it would stop then start would take thirty minutes to get the slide from one position to the other, limit switches are not the problem as per Robert Hilt, before, it would come in at the top, but would be out at the bottom1/2 or 3/4″ The pins would have to bring the bottom in and when they released they would be in a bind with a loud pop noise when they released, obviously in a bind. Well this has been going on since I bought the coach 4 years ago, Troy told me to take it to Nashville to get slide fixed as they did not do this work at Stuart, Took it to Nashville they ajusted the limit switch, and the other three times I have had it in they ajusted the limit switch, well now the switch is adjusted all the way and still no fix, sure hope this time will be the fix, don,t need all this worry right now, hea maybe I need to trade for a non slide coach? just kidding, and just rambling, just tired of it not working. After all that is why I bought a Liberty, Gary

Way back when Prevost slides were first installed the forums and service centers were filled with slide discussions and slide problems.

Within a few years and with an evolving design we almost never hear of slide problems and during my last several visits to various Prevost service centers I haven’t seen any slide repairs being done.

So Gary, my advice is do not go out and buy any lottery tickets. Maybe after your luck changes, but not right away.
