What are we calling monoque ? I thought Prevost stopped using that type, mine has sub frame this thing has more tubing than my Eagle had, I also saw a wrecked X3 it sure looked like it had a frame

I am sorta of lost on the monoque construction of a Prevost how would you support a monoque frame with fiberglass siding ?

Clifford, I am not privy to the Prevost engineering of the structure but a while back it appears the bays which used to just hang on the chassis structure (the bird cage) became the bridge between the axle sub structures supporting the upper portion. The current chassis shell has rounded corner gussets within the bays set back about 20 inches or so from the outer portion of the coach. Those gussets appear to create a bridge from the bays so instead of the lengthwise trusses on each side the longitudinal strength seems to be the bay structure.
