We are very concerned about protecting the privacy of our members. A lot of members have enabled their email addresses and we do not want non-members to access that information of harvest them. If a member logs in at a public computer such as a library or hotel, and then fails to log out a person following that member may then be able to enter the web site.

We opted for the timing out of the web site to prevent unauthorized use and it is as big a pain in the butt for us as it is for everyone else but our members’ privacy is something we protect.

My computer does save the log in information so all that is necessary is to click one button.

Many years ago on another forum, membership data was made available to a company marketing to the RV industry. As members we not only lost some privacy, just the fact Prevost owner addresses were also available could have been used by people who target high worth individuals.

We will not even provide any member’s email address to another member without permission. Tom and I take our member’s privacy very secret.

If Prevost wants to communicate with our members (they have on a few occasions) we are the ones who forward the communication from Prevost to our members.
