  Shurflo Water Pumps

  Since I need to replace the leaking pump, I called Shurflo and
  talked to their tech folks about what pumps are the best bet since I
  have a tandem deal. I first learned that you NEVER use an accumulator
  with 5.7 Smart Sensor Shurflo pump. Somewhere along the line someone
  replaced the factory installed Shurflo 2.3 with the 5.7 and according
  to the tech, the 5.7 wasn’t doing much of anything because of the
  accumulator. So I’m going to replace them both with the newer
  4048-153-E75. The good thing was the smaller pump that developed a
  leak was dated 1996! Now that’s good service.
