Shurflo 4048 12v water pump
When I bought the Royale in 2017 one of the 1st things I did was take off the 2 small water pumps and replace it with 1 better 12v water pump. I bought a Shurflo 4048 12v 4 gallons per min and 55 to 60 PSI installed new pump and it has worked good since I installed it, And we mostly use our soft water from home and the water pump,sometimes we do hook up to park water. But we were getting ready to head out for a trip tomorrow and a couple of days ago I fired up everything and water pump did not shut off like it always does, so I was going to order a new one from Amazon but instead I read some tech stuff on pump and I pulled it off and took off cover of pump and it was spotless then I found on tech info about resetting pressure switch and bypass adjustment it read 1st disconnect 12v then wire directly to pump motor bypass pressure switch- add power to pump only set bypass to 65psi- next reconnect power to pressureswitch run pump set shut off pressure to 55 psi , now it is set to factory spec’s, tested pump at full flow and to small trickle and no pulsing at all, before it would pulse at trickle, good pressure and very quiet great pump, glad I did not order newpump, Thanks Shurflo!
