Should we give the bus a new paint job?

If the “stealth” look is what the owner went for, I guess it is the bus equivalent of the younger generation wearing all black with black nail polish, black dyed hair, black lipstick, etc.

Matt black, all black, look has pretty much run its course. It was really hot with the custom car builders a few years ago, became more common, and now the custom builders have moved on.

Guess i’m not into stealth. It still has a huge radar return and it’s not gonna out run the constable.
BTW South Carolina HP is now running shinny black Dodge Chargers with the trooper logo in dark blue. They are hard to see and even side by side hard to know who they are. The low profile light bar helps with disappearing act.

We saw this solid color Xl2 a couple years ago in Kentucky. It shows the true beauty of the design lines of the model without all of the additional visual distractions. I sat in the co pilots seat and marveled at its beauty in the rain. Painting the stainless is sacriledge in my opinion.

Yes I am bad about saying what I think or good about saying what I think (hmmm?) to each his own.
I would never intentionally hurt anyone’s feelings…. but also… if you don’t want to know don’t ask.
I find a mixture of opinions very interesting.. I’m delighted that we don’t all like the same things… aren’t you?

I’ve seen an entertainer like that at Prevost in Mira Loma – I thought it looked cool!

I seem to remember seeing a ‘stealth’ painted entertainer at Mira Loma too.
Anyway, the solid dull paint is not my favorite paint scheme. The white one above looks OK because the stainless is exposed.
I’ve seen several ‘upper-end’ cars painted with the ‘stealth’ gray in California. Not my favorite.

Could be that the black one looked like crap before and needed painted. 50K for bling or 8-10K for flat black. If the owners like it is all that matters. Or when purchasing a coach , they might have had the choice between a plastic coach and the Prevost. I have seen a flat black entertainer also. Definitely different.

Dee and Diane – y’all haven’t hurt my feelings at all! I agree with you that life would be very boring if everything looked like it was all cut with the same cookie-cutter!
It would have been interesting to see the inside of this particular coach – but I’m afraid if it were as dark on the inside as the outside it might have been quite creepy!

Diane, a voice not raised can never be heard. I’d worry more about being in “stealth mode” as it could make us less invisible to other “stealth” operators, not to mention bugs and birds!
