Short term storage no paower
Noob question. I have searched but nothing really addresses my issue
I need to take the bus to Allison to have some transmission work done. So, no way to provide power to the bus during it’s time there. How long it’ll stay is unknown a this point but at least a week.
I have always stored it connected to 50amp power. What is the best way to configure it to not kill the batteries? Frig is empty, no worries about freezing so I don’t need power to the house.
I assume battery and inverter external switches to OFF? Anything else I should do?
It’s a 2002 Marathon.

Your era bus has very little parasitic draw. Turning off your inverters and 12 and 24 switches is all you can do.
Your chassis batteries should hold for weeks if there in good shape. When you fire it back up you should have plenty of juice in your house batteries to boost the chassis if you had too.

I never leave my bus plugged in charging all the time. When i get home from a trip, i switch the 12 and 24 Chassis disconnects off, and my house battery disconnects are off.
