Shade adjustment
I restrung one of my shades yesterday and now it only goes about two thirds of the way up. It goes down and stops when it gets to the bottom of the window like it should. Is there a way to adjust the up travel of the shade?
I believe they are Hunter Douglas shades.

There’s a limit switch, but I don’t remember how to make the adjustment. I have to restring another of mine in the next week and I found a source for the flat string/tape if anyone needs it. They call the string lifting tape. Mine looks like heavy duty dental floss.
I measured the distance open/closed and then matched that measurement when I did the restring. I rigged up a wooden brace in the bus barn that I can mount the blind and then operate it up and down to get the measurement correct.

the hunter Douglas blinds have two limit switches one yellow one brown one will be the up limit switch one will be the down. Have some one hold the switch to run down and take a very small screw driver and push the limit switch in and let it pop back out when the blind is where you want it to stop and do same thing with other switch and have helper hold blind switch in opposite direction you can fine tune adjustment by just pushing in on the limit switch and releasing quickly.
