Service in Austin TX?
Hi All,
Anyone know of a place near Austin that can do engine service that people like us would be OK with? I know of some heavy duty truck places… but I’m not sure I’d want to take our coach there.
Prevost is 3 hours away… just seeing if there was a good place that was a bit closer.

I Googled UNited Engines, Austin, tx and saw they were hiring in Austin…
See if you can find them … they can do anything Prevost can do engine wise…
I will keep looking for a number….
I just called Okahoma City and they are trying to obtain a name of their sister company that they believe has an outlet in Austin. They will call me back soon…

United Engines of Oklahoma City just returned the call and recommended Stewart and Stevenson (512) 251-6120.
We all know S & S ….they are great …. I have used them for 14 years….

We always had excellent service from Stewart & Stevenson around Texas… especially Houston and Dallas… and they used to stay open around the clock !!

When I had a problem with blower seals on my old 2 stroke they (Austin) sent me south to San Antonio. they still had a mechanic that worked on them at that location. They told me they did service the 4 strokes at the Austin location. Stewart Stevenson are top notch folks.
