Oddly enough I cannot find a diagram for a 1997 chassis XL40, converted or anything else, at that link.

Could be the parking brake valve. It is tied to both the front and rear air tanks. They are noted for leaking.

Bill, when parked the brakes should retain pressure. If they jointly lose pressure the problem almost always is attributable to parking brake components between both the primary and secondary tanks up to and including the relay valve for the parking brakes.
Mikee made a good suggestion and a review of your pneumatic system on the Prevost diagrams will show any other potential leak sources between the tanks and up to and including the relay valve.
Given that Prevost was starting to use push in fittings around the time your chassis was produced I would not rule out something as simple as a fitting.

Thanks Art, I got the diagram! The lines are nearly impossible to interpret but doing so in French doesn’t help much!

I downloaded the diagrams, printed them onto A4, took them to a print shop and had them blown up into 2×3 diagrams, excellent results, both pneumatic and electrical schematics.

I have a 28 inch screen on my computer, I enlarge it to 400 present and I wrote down the colors on a card from french to english but you see check valves protection valves all the components of the air system ,Their is Black-Green-Red-yellow-Blue hoses for all air systems.
Red-Rouge for Secondary brake system (Front) – Vert-Green for Primary brake system (Rear) – Yellow-Jaune for parking spring Brakes – Blue-Bleu for Travel Mode suspension – Black-Noir for assessoires includes Leveling-slides ofany kind, anything else little compressor. If you follow the air path you will learn a lot about the system that’s what I did. Don Beard (lonestarace) helped me a lot when I bought the bus. Don knows his stuff.

Hey Don, the link you provided is dead. My Coach still has the old Tag Axle Logic. 96 H3-45 chassis. I absolutely hate it! At some point, I will update the Logic. Thanks.

I want to say thanks to everyone responding to this subject. I did not do it but my 98 45XLE has all norgren valves. I have a ghost leak (slow) have started from compressor thru suspension (selonoid stack) and all. Now I have a way to check pr-2 . I’m lucky to have a pit ,sonic leak detector,Blue leak solution(used to find hvac leaks and dawn dish detergent in a squirt bottle. Need to check park brake next for leak.
